THE BRIDE (isn't who we may think it is)

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

What would you think if the person that you married wasn't who you thought they were?

You might think them to be very deceitful or at best a trick had been played on you. The point I want to make here is that God is not interested in taking into His family a people that is not who they claim to be either.  When we tell God something how honest are we about what we say? Do we find there is an element of deception in our prayers to God? Do we have an attitude toward God much the same as we do with other people in this life?  Do we try to use God?  If we can ever say yes in our hearts to any of those things we are certainly not someone whom God would want to call His Bride.

God knew that we could never be that person on our own so He sent Jesus as a payment for that original sin and started to read our hearts intent instead of relying on our obedience to the law He had given. The main thing that God is looking for is our hearts intent. He wants to know what it is that we really want above all else because His love for us is still that strong.  God is willing to love and forgive us if we are willing to return His love from our own will and intent of heart to love Him,

My dear ones there are a great number of people today who are trying to fool God in the same ways they try to fool and manipulate one another in life, but God is not fooled because He knows what is in our hearts before we speak a word.  He already knows if our praise or our prayers are genuine acts of love and worship for Him or if they are just attempting to fool Him.  You see that is the other part of Jesus's ministry with us; it's to see if we will accept God's love through Jesus death burial and resurrection, for if we truly are then we are hidden in Christ, and whenever God deals with us He is dealing with Jesus Christ.  The thing is that we have to stay in love with God, and we have to work constantly to make sure that our faith and love stay pure.  That is what Paul calls " workings out our salvation with fear and trembling".  God has already proven His love for us and now it is our turn to show Him the love and respect that He is due.  I want to take the time to talk to you about this subject at length over the next few blogs because it is important that we begin to understand just who God is looking for as His Bride when Christ returns. NO! Jesus is not returning for everyone who calls themselves Christian! Stay with me this week. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
