Teach baptize and teach continued
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
TEACH, BAPTIZE,AND TEACH. The idea that teach is said to time here is not coincidence. The first part of the instruction is for our own growth but the principle is to teach others what we have been taught in Christ so that they in turn can teach others. It has been a long time now since I have seen this principle really put into effect. Usually we sit in the classroom for years without ever getting out in teaching another person what God is simply done in our own lives. I was told one time the best way that we can learn a subject is to go out and try to teach it to someone. The question then must be to each one of us"what has been church's main objective and principal in teaching?" The church in Antioch knew the principles of TEACH, BAPTIZE, AND TEACH, and they put them into effect every week. The church building was not necessarily the biggest building in town because a major part of the work was being done outside of the building itself. The services were designed around the celebration of the harvest of soul brought in from the churches work. This is the teaching principle of the Holy Spirit behind the instruction of the bride of Christ that we might grow and become bonded together as a family in Jesus Christ. These principles serve us for the instruction of the body of Christ in the later days. The teachings themselves must deal with those gifts and fruits of the spirit, which are to be led by us is the power of God's Spirit moves and works through us.
We are divided for the most part in the several camps of belief and how God works spiritually within the body of believers. This is a major part of how we gain power as the church in this place, and so it stands to reason that Satan would first of all attack this area of our belief and our worship of God. For many of us the idea of how the gifts of the spirit should work with in the body, and what the fruits of the Spirit are with in the individual life become unclear it's easy for many to get these jumbled up in their minds, and for some reason we are not being taught well the workings and the differences. When these are understood well the power of God can flow in a mighty way through the church. If these are mixed up in the minds of the child God they can become to choose to see to destroy the work of God's Spirit in the body.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 13 Paul begins teaching about the gifts of God's Spirit by saying that no man can speak by the spirit of God without glorifying Christ as Lord. Paul goes on to say that there are many diversities of spiritual gifts but they're all from the same Holy Spirit. There may be many different kinds of operations going on, and there may be many different ways that the Spirit of God manifests himself as the church works within the community but it all comes from the same God and, it is all the same spirit of God to profit everyone. Paul then hones in on the gifts of the Spirit themselves. These gifts are as follows: the spirit of the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, the gift of healing, the working of miracles, the gift of prophecy, discernment of spirits, diverse kinds of Tom's, and interpretation of tongues. These gifts of the Spirit of God are given to do a particular kind of work in the body of Christ. You won't find them in a body of believers for no reason. In so many places today find the lesser of the gifts of the Spirit being played with like little children playing with a loaded gun. They only know one of about don't know it's something cool to have, it has power and they get recognition by possessing it. Paul then deals with the misuse of these gifts by saying that although some of these gifts and may be thought of as greater outward signs and manifestations of having the spirit of God in one's life, without these gifts working together in a body of believers the body cannot properly function. What do you think would happen just one part of your body were to decide to take the rest of the body over? In 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 tells us that not everyone will show the manifestation of these gifts. In verse 31 he states we should covet earnestly the best of these gifts and desires to show those in Corinth a more excellent way. That is when he begins the 13th chapter of 1 Corinthians that were all familiar with. Because I don't want to run too long with these blogs I will choose to stop here for now, and pick up next time as Paul writes in the book of Romans 12:5-12. May you richly bless God through your life in the him.
