Spiritual teaching on instruction of the body of Christ
Greetings in the name Jesus:
God has given us the guidelines for everything that we need in the body of Christ that will help us to grow and to strengthen, but just like the disciples we do not seem to understand those principles even though they are given the most simple ways. Today we have a great many divisions within the bodies of believers who would follow after Christ. These divisions are based upon various ways of worshiping Christ, and the doctrines of worship have become a dividing wall between us toward fellowship with one another. The true teachings of the body of Christ; or as we know of it as his bride in the latter days, has nothing to do with these doctrinal differences. In fact the spiritual teachings should begin to draw the body of Christ together and out of the places that they have been encamped all of this time. I believe that we will find as many varied directions of believers come from the nominations as we will find varied personalities of Christians in the church. The one thing that will bring these individuals together is the common power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in each one of us.
These teachings are not new to us and yet they have largely been ignored by most of us because they require a complete commitment to Christ in order to work in our lives. The father is beginning the outpouring of his spirit even now, and the time for us to begin to see the path is given to us is at hand. Let me ask you some very serious questions as we get into this section of our spiritual teaching:
1. What do you think the true principles of God's instruction through the Holy Spirit are? The answer to that is a combination of several statements. He wants us to know him as he knows us. He wants a completely relationship with those in his family. He wants to be sure this, and he wants us to be sure of him. God already knows us all to well because he reads the intent of our heart when dealing with us. There are several things we need to realize as we get to know God, and we show God more of ourselves. Our salvation is eternal and therefore God will not make any mistakes and knowing without any doubt that we really want this salvation. God will expend all of the time and energy necessary to make sure of us, and to know that we have made sure of him as we work out our terms of adoption into his kingdom. The teachings of God's children through the power the Holy Spirit is a lifelong challenge of experiencing his hand in our lives, and finding out the true intent of our hearts toward him. This is done through various trials and victories in this life. We don't seem to understand that any more than his first disciples did. It is only through the teachings of Christ himself that we can begin to understand this process.
While it would be very easy for me to get into the meat of these teachings I only want to introduce you to the basic principle of these teachings. They are to teach, baptize, and teach. I want to take the time in the next blog to unpack the spiritual principle teaching as it deals completely with allowing the Holy Spirit to govern the process. May you richly bless God your life in him.
