THE REALITY OF THE VALUE WE HAVE IN CHRIST

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

There has never been a time in my Christian life when it has been safe in the sense that I could feel free from being attacked by the enemy of God.  I know that for most of you this would seem like a strange thing to say because all of our lives we have been told to believe that we are safe in Christ.

I don't think that we really understand what kind of safety we are given when we come to Christ.  We are right to believe that we cannot be plucked out of the hands of Jesus, but that guarantee is given to our soul, and our eternal future, but it does not necessarily apply to our physical life here, The whole concept of our preparation in this life is to get us ready for what Christ has called reality (REAL LIFE).  The point of all of this is to tell you that for the most part, we have chosen to misunderstand the meanings of much of what God's message has been to us concerning the value that we place on the things we deal with every day.  If we get this right it will change the very ways we feel about our life and ministry in God's Holy Spirit.

It is this new understanding of who it is that God has called us to be that will cause us to stop clinging to this world as our reality, and begin a new journey for us toward holding firmly onto that which God has promised us.  God in His message of Good News has never said that He was saving the physical makeup of this world or of the creatures that we are now; but He is rather redeeming who it is we were created to be.  the part of this message we don't seem to get is that there is real life which awaits each one who truly will believe in Christ, and there is truly a reason for us to prepare now to make decisions about how we intend to spend the eternal life that we already have...in Heaven with God or in eternal torment?  This understanding makes the preparation time that we have to make decisions right now during our current life vital and very urgent.

How do we view our purpose while we are here in this life?  Do we see ourselves as little children who are without any power at all? Or do we desire to be grown up's who take the responsibility seriously of understanding and becoming prepared to meet God face to face and then enjoy the eternity that God has planed for those who love and believe that Jesus is truly the Son of God.? When we can see that truth we can then easily begin to let go of those things that tied us to this existence and held us at an arms length from what God has in store for our lives.  This coming Monday morning I will be going into a very difficult heart surgery.  I don't yet know the outcome of this, but I do know that I am ready for whatever is to be.  Please keep me in prayer, and remember that what I have said to you is always true.  I have poured out my soul to you like a fine drink, and I pray that for some of you the word has taken root and has grown so that you too may bee able to see some of the mysteries that have made you scratch your heads from time to time.  I love you all in the name of Jesus, and I will either see you on the other side, or soon after the operation. Mayyou  richly bless God through your life in Him.
