Breaking down life in the spirit
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
We started out by speaking to you about an attitude that is developed within the modern church that has allowed us to try to include the things of the world around us in drawing people to Christ. That has not worked because the more we try to relate to the world the less our witness in Christ appeal to the world
The key to our gift of life in the spirit is our commitment to living that life 24/7 and not only when it is convenient. We have very little time on this earth to prove to God what our intent of heart is in relation to the eternity that we spend with the decisions that we make now in our relationship with Jesus Christ. The question must come to our mind about how we have chosen to witness to the world around us. Where then is your heart and your mind in comparison to what you have told God? This relates directly to the way that this world views the church, and it relates even more directly to how God views our lives as the church that he established for us to be. Every day of our lives is a new chance for this commitment. Every time we speak and listen; every time we have the chance to be more committed to our word of faith in him, and then turn to word the easy way to appease the world around us we affect our relationship and position in the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit is even now beginning to bring forth an outpouring of his love and power upon his people. The question is what will you do with it? Will you be a part of it? And the greatest question of all is will you allow that kingdom to be a part of you? I am convinced that we will begin to see a great purge of people from among church membership that has long been just going along for the ride. I believe that in the next few months and years we will begin to see of what God's intent has been for the church and over time it will tell us that it is not an instant gratification that we need to seek in being saved through the Spirit of Christ, but it is a slow process of accepting the love that is there for us, and a realization that this life is only the beginning.
For us to really feel God in our life we must make the effort to live God in our life. This is a pattern that is absolute in every relationship that mankind has ever had in our spiritual relationship with our Creator. If we don't live the relationship, it will not last! God is not difficult to understand because he made us in his likeness. Our emotions and feelings are patterned after his own. It is time to stop guessing and begin to live according to what you already know inside of your heart is a real. We are made this way for a very good reason, it is the one thing that makes it easy to understand God. One of the things that is so absolutely necessary is that we as individuals begin to take one we say and do very personally as it relates to Christ in our life. I believe that our relationship with Christ is meant to be complete unity with God's Trinity. In order for us to be effective as guns and witnesses to this world we must also be incomplete spiritual unity with one another. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
