THE BATTLE CONTINUES TO BE WAGED
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I am not sure what to continue with when it comes to preparing for that which we need to guard against first. I do know that the enemy of God is getting bolder than ever in attacking God's people. Without any doubt, we have a terrific ONE/TWO punch to deal with in the fact that we too are many times as much to blame for getting in the way of God's work within us as is Satan.
I have found myself lamenting over "The things I would do are the things I do not do"; and yet this whole mess we are in is designed to make us choose either God's plan for us, or to continue to cling to this world. I have heard much said over the last several years how "education" is the real key to eliminating poverty, but apparently, education still does very little to help us from being stupid about life! With the development of the new era of SNOWFLAKES! and other politically charged groups that have developed over the last two years the ideas of what have become important issues have drifted far away from God's word. With that having been said we must stay alerted to the Spiritual needs of people around us.
I have personally come to the place of not thinking about myself in terms of my health and well-being as much as the needs of getting people the truth about this life. I am finding less and less who are willing to stick to the issues of what that truth means to our eternal security. I am myself am convinced that the only thing that we can cling to or have any hope in is found in the promises that God has made to us through Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior...anything else is false. The dynamics of what I am saying here is rather clear; unless we can let go of the death grip we now have on a dying world around us and begin to cling to the truth of what God has been saying to us all along we will be among the majority of those will be disappointed in what they have chosen to put their faith in. We can easily be among those who simply have trusted in the things of this world rather than to build a complete relationship with our Savior.
It is so easy to allow others to do the heavy lifting as far as our relationship with God is concerned. I say this without ever making any statement about the differences in the creed or doctrine that so easily tends to separate us from one another. I am simply speaking about the tremendous need for those who claim Christ as their Savior to actually make Christ their Savior. In the end, that will be the deciding factor for a great number of souls who are right now missing the mark. The answer that Christ has given us remains just as simple as it was when first spoken by Jesus; we must place our allegiance to God at the very top of our priorities, and begin to love each other just as we dare to love self...for that is the cornerstone that is being rejected by most in this generation. I would like to continue to have this discussion this week, but for now may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
