WHAT PARTS OF THIS LIFE ARE IMPORTANT TO GOD;AND WHY?
Greetings in the name of Jesus our Lord:
There are a great many misconceptions made about what is important in this life among those of us who are caught up in it. With that difference, we find individual likes and desires that keep us apart from being complete and in unity with each other. Some prefer the wildness of nature, and others the streamlined control of the modern man-made designs. Perhaps it is because we are caught in this existence and physical limitation that we cannot seem to look past the possibilities that our creator has a completely different set of values that He has placed upon this life.
It is this set of values and goals for our existence that we need to have a closer look at because in many ways our ties to this physical place and our desires for these things being placed above our desire to be with God and do His will become a problem.that must change if we are to have a healthy relationship with the Father. One of the basic teachings from Christ in the GOOD NEWS message is that we are the ones who must make a transformation from who we currently are and into a new creature whose mind and heart has been allowed to be transformed through our continued relationship with God's Holy Spirit.
Just what does this change mean for us? Since it was God who initiated this Plan of Salvation and new covenant through Jesus His Son it will not be God who does any changing, and His word it is said will never change. Jesus began to teach early in His ministry before He started with the parable teachings to general crowds. Matthew 6:31-34 was His recorded words about how we should feel about this world in general. "Therefore take no thought, saying; what shall we eat, or what shall we drink? or wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek, for your Heavenly Father knows you have need of these things. But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow for the morrow shall take thought of things of itself. that is surfactant unto the day is the evil thereof."
I believe one of the main things that we as humans misunderstand about God is what His intention is in our salvation God wants to save the very essence of who we are as His children, but He has to find out the truth about our loyalties to Him before that final step can be made in our salvation I have often wondered down through the years of my life what the purpose has been in creating mankind in a physical form? God found out the hard way what the gift of self-will can be to our relationship with Him. I believe that God did not want the possibility of Heavenly war in the Kingdom of Heaven, and so in the final stages of our development placed us in this realm and placed extreme limits on us so that He might find out what was in the intent of our hearts. Put into the most simple of terms this means that we are made as physical creatures so that we can be controlled and limited as self-willing creatures until we can prove to God that we can love Him as He has loved us. This also means that that the purpose of this life is reduced to no more than our need to maker a decision about God.
In a very true way the reasons that God does not get any more involved in this physical world than He is currently is because His objective has little or nothing to do with our physical condition; our desire for the things of this world or even our comfort. His promise is to supply all of our needs to life if we will put Him first. His greatest desire is for us to be with Him at any cost and so with that in mind if suffering in this life will draw us closer to Him then because of His great love and desire for us to be with Him God will allow it. On many occasion's Jesus has compared the value of life itself to the desires of this world, which are only temporary, and has asked the question "What is more important; the body or the spirit which gives the body life?" When we begin to compare those things that are of greatest interest to God with that which we call reality there are very few things that really make a difference compared to our eternal life with God. I do not believe that God causes suffering, but I do think He will allow us to suffer if it will bring us to Him. God's objective is that we safe and secure in Him once we have made a choice to be with Him. That choice is much more than simply making a statement that we believe in Christ, but rather it is our commitment to live our lives for Christ. Anyone can say something...anyone can give praise to someone else without really caring about them personally. The reason we have been given self-will is because self will produce the purest kind of real love from our hearts. By giving our free will love to God we must access our hearts from the very intent within our soul to love Him. God reads only the intent of our hearts regarding our love for Him. God demands a perfected love from us. It is the best kind of love because God knows it is the most genuine of any love in that it is given from the heart. So what is it God is looking for? He is looking for the very essence of who we are as a creation to be in genuine love with Him as our creator. When someone loves you so much it should be very difficult to ignore that love.May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
