The unknown and unsung heroes and the lessons of life

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

Quite frequently God's spirit has snuck up on me with life lessons that I was unprepared to receive at the time. I really don't know why he does that but here's one of the messages that he gave me out of the blue.  "Some of the most beautiful poetry and songs have been written about the love that man has for woman. The riches of the talents given to mankind in the ways of art and music are incredible and yet it is nothing in comparison to God's smallest flower which is grown in the field where no one will ever see its beauty. It is also true that the greatest heroes who have ever lived were never known for they are those who quietly went about the business of healing the sick and working with those whom our society would not help in their time of need. People who are unsung treasures to our father and who are the richest people in heaven today may well be the poorest people here in this life." The last will be first and the first will be last"it is said. While we scrimp and save this worldly good for a retirement here we could be so much better in setting aside treasures in heaven were nothing can disturb it. What we do while we are here has a great impact on what will be our lives later after we leave this place. There are many lessons to be learned and for many of us these lessons must be continuously repeated throughout our lives. The one lesson we should pray for understanding is the lesson of storing up treasures in our heavenly home. This world and all that it has will pass away just as we will pass from this existence. All that we are and will become is to be found in who we are to become on the inside. Let God do a work of beauty in you that you can take with you when you leave this place. Turn your eyes to the father who can help you to lay up treasures of greater value than any riches no here. Become a true part of his family so that no one can touch your value. Let the father love you as he so desperately wants to and you will not only be the richest, but also the happiest person while you are here."

Sometimes God hits us from left field with various lessons that we are totally unprepared for, but they are things that we as individuals or as a church body must learn before it's too late. Here's another quick one that the Holy Spirit gave me." God has given each of us lessons, which we must learn while we are here. Each of us has a different curriculum and each of us has different instructors. If we are not willing to learn from the lesson set before us we are simply recycled into a different class with the same subject until we do learn. That process may well take an entire lifetime and it may require a great price in the end for the lesson. Each one of God's children has a course set for them by the father, but few are able to find it because of stubborn pride. Being a good student of the Lord requires us to lay aside all of who we are to become a new person, and allowed God to restore us to that which he chooses to use for his glory. Our talents and knowledge are but gifts given to us for the enhancement of all were use as his tools to reach mankind and anything we do with them above our calling of the Holy Spirit is our own choice. So many think that because we have been gifted this way or that way that God requires us to use that gift for him alone. That's simply not so, but he does require us to give that gift to him to be used when he sees fit to do so. There are so many workers in the field today who are reaping when they should be selling, because they feel that reaping is the better of the work. If they would only listen to the spirit and learn the lesson they are being taught they would know they should be sores of the word to all instead of reapers to a few. They have used their talents ahead of God's plan for them let us learn to wait on the Lord for he is able but we must be ready, we must be waiting, we must be his tools to be used for his purpose in us along. We must give him glory from our use and not seek glory from his use of us." The question often becomes how many times do we have to go through a lesson that God tries to teach us before we learn? May you richly bless God through your life in him.
