PREPARING OUR HEARTS/ LEARNING LESSONS
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
During my life and my walk with God there have been many different things that God's Spirit has had to deal with me on. God has given me many pep talks, and many scolding in my life but as time has gone on I have begun to learn to listen more closely to his voice.
"Our lives are turned upside down in the processes of God's spiritual change for us. We cannot know the depth of his wisdom in making our lives ready to fit into his kingdom as we are presented with problems and the outcomes they are set against. We have both faith and knowledge that the outcome will be sent right as we seek his counsel. For all of God's chosen people to be touched by his spirit means that we must go through a life changing experience. We cannot see his face in our lives and remain the same. We are each one given a different task to accomplish, and we do not know when or how we should attain our goal in Christ except by relying on the power of God's spirit to lead us.
We should not be disheartened for what is to come in our life, but we should glorify God by it and make our lives to become a beacon of light to show those whom are life touches. We are not all profits or teachers but we are all in some way reapers for the harvest of God's souls. Some may plant, some may tend the soil, or become the reapers of God's harvest. In the end it does not matter for we are all laborers in the same field. We are all called to a great delight of truths in this age through the power of God's Spirit. If we can become his tools used in this work we will draw all mankind unto him so that they will also see the truth. We may point the way to God but it is still their own will and choice as to whether they will listen and turn from their pathways unto the father that loves them.
Lift up your hearts to the Lord for he is faithful and true to you. He will not let you walk with out his guiding light. Let your pathway become his bidding for your soul and you will never see darkness again, for it is his will that you walk in the light of his love. We are here but for a moments time and then we shall see his face. We cannot understand or comprehend his glory for us in eternity but we shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye and made a whole and perfect in his sight. We shall know all things whatsoever we ask, and the stripes offered for our soul through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior will heal our existence. We are victors in his life given freely for our transgressions. We are glorified through our obedience to him, praise God."
It is through God's spirit speaking to me about preparing my heart that I began to be able to accept the lessons of life that he sent my way.
"God has given each of us lessons which we must learn while we are here. Each of us has a different curriculum, and each has a different set of instructors. If we are not willing to learn from the lesson set before us we are simply recycled into a different class with the same subject until we do learn. That process may well take an entire lifetime and it may require a great price in the end for that lesson to be learned. Each one of God's children has a course set for them by the father, but few are able to find it because of the stubborn pride that we carry with us. Being a good student of the Lord requires us to lay aside all of who we are to become a new person, and then allow God to restore to us that which he chooses to use for his glory. Our talents and knowledge are but gifts given to us for the enhancement of our use as his tools to reach mankind and anything we do with them above our calling from the Holy Spirit to do is from us alone. So many think that because we have been gifted the way we have God requires us to use that gift for him. That is simply not so, but he does require us to give that gift to him to be used whenever he sees fit do so. There are so many workers in the field today who are reaping when they should be sewing, because they feel that reaping is the better of the work. If they would only listen to the spirit of God and learned their lesson they would know they should be sewers of word to all instead of reapers of the word to but a few. As we water and to hold the soil, reap the harvest we all use our talents thinking that we do God a favor but sometimes we have used our talents I had of God's plan for them to be used. Let us learn to wait on the Lord for he is able but we must be ready. We must be waiting. We must be his tools to be used for his purpose in us alone. We must give him glory from our use and not seek glory from his use of us."
Sometimes it is very difficult to humble ourselves before God, and wait upon him for instruction. The real power comes from God's spirit at work with in, and through us. It is his will that drives our success in Christ. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
