A point of light: are we seeing the forest or the trees?

I send greetings in the name of Jesus our Lord:

It's a known fact that some people cannot see the forest for the trees. It happens because we allow ourselves to get so close to a situation that we can't see our way around. The difficulty isn't more intense or isn't any bigger than anyone else's, but we are approaching it from a vantage point where we are too personal with question and the answers many times are what we don't want to hear. The degree of difficulty does not change our problem' it's just the way that we look at it. Most people find it so much easier to speak with a third person about issues that are too personal to solve alone, but God is already given us the greatest counselor that we could ever have the Holy Spirit. We just don't think about going there for the kind of counsel that we so desperately need. The Holy Spirit can and will be able to solve most all of our problems because like it or not most of the problems we face in this world are somehow linked to the spirit.

For us to gain this new spiritual insight we must be able to view things with new spiritual eyes. That means we must give up our old site. What I mean is to give up the struggle of looking at everything through physical point of view and begin to allow God's Spirit to see things for us. Having this new spiritual sight does not change the problem in any way. It doesn't make them smaller or goal way at all, but what does is allow us to see those problems with the vision that is not encumbered with tricks in the falseness of this world. It's kind of like getting the chance to think alone and in a quiet place about a problem rather than in the middle of a crowded and noisy place. Were no longer attacked by the noise and frustration of this world. Because of that we can see more clearly, and think more sharply. When we see through the eyes of God's Spirit we can also begin to see ourselves differently. We may well begin to see ourselves as God would have us see ourselves; as his children and recognize our true worth is a children of the King of Kings who are only on a short journey in a very temporary place.

If we stand too closely to the problems we face we cannot see around them, and then is what makes him look so big to us; our view is blocked. We must begin to view things through someone who has the very best advantage points. Let me ask a question right now? How do you view your life in the spirit of God right now? Or do you at all? If you're in trouble right now and if you don't know where to turn, remember that you need to go somewhere where there is better vantage points in which to view your problem. God is waiting to give you that vantage point even as I speak to you now if you will ask him and then allow him to do his will in your life. One of the most difficult things for me to understand has been the ever stretching, bending, reaching, wisdom of God at work in my life. It changes completely at times and I find it hard to keep up with. When I look at others as well I find the same thing happening. God sees readily and naturally right to the heart of all of our situations. We may say it is a trait of God and therefore divine in nature but could it be that we have also been created to have this ability? Is this something that we have never ask for or been trained to do in life? It all begins with first of all being able to see the truth as it really is. This should not be difficult for anyone possessing the power the Holy Spirit in our lives, yet do we choose to walk around blindly because it may demand too much of our life if we didn't? Is it that we all do naturally see things in others but dismiss it because of a misplaced respect for what this world is taught us to think and feel about? No matter what happens in our life the father always sees the truth. Is it possible that if we insist on seeing things is the father sees then we too will be able to see the truth readily? We take so much for granted in this life as being truth one for the most part it is all hearsay. As I look at the reality of all we take for granted to be truth every day, and as I see through the eyes of the spirit all of the cover up in the seat behind what is told to us, many times on the news about what really happened with military action taken or the facts about a public official's activities, I am made aware two of Satan more so each day. We have grown into taking for granted that we can believe what certain people say is absolute truth whether it is or not. The Holy Spirit is about to pour out upon his people a new kind of site. It will be that of being able to see the truth and someone, being able to see the spirit in someone, and not be fooled by the words they use. That day is rapidly approaching now when the gift of the Holy Spirit will make and break ministries, and Christian lives. Before this is all over we may well need to use this kind of spiritual insight in order to be personally say because we won't know by what we hear. I actually believe that that day is here now, and that we need to be careful even in our churches as to what we hear and take for granted as being the truth. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
