WHEN WE SAY "Milk of the Word" WHAT DO WE MEAN?

GREETINGS NAME OF JESUS:


 We can all relate to the basics of what caused us to believe in Christ, but there are still small parts of that walk we may have a hard time comprehending for a while.

 That is the reason that I think God continues to make me come back to the basics from time to time; plus the enemy is working overtime to distract us from some of the things that God really wants us to achieve in learning how to live.  There are many simple things that we overlook in our world that seem to be easy to grasp and master learning that is not.  I have heard all of my life that if we can only grasp the truth about one or two of God's principals in life we will, in turn, be among the wisest of people.  It is the simple truth about how to LOVE or the real meaning of PEACE OF MIND, that tends to elude us the most.  When we think about the milk of God's word to us some of these things are among the most basic principals that we need to learn first.

  Most of us when we hear about these concepts can readily understand them, and yet they do not come to our minds as a knee-jerk response to most of the things we deal with in life; which means to me that we have not yet committed ourselves to them as a part of our lifestyle as Christians. That also tells me a lot about who most people are as children of God; that is at best babies.

  Can I ask you what it is that gives you the most security in Christ?  Is it the idea that He has already done everything for you, and that there is nothing for you to do but coast along with Him as your protector? Have you ever thought about what God wants from you out of the Plan of Salvation?
  One of the things that He has asked us to do first is to stop storing up for ourselves treasures on Earth and begin to think of this life as only a starting place for eternal life. Matthew 5:19

 When we speak about things like LOVE we should realize that God's definition of the word is not at all what we use it for today because His kind of love will reach past those who are kind and nice to us in return, and will be displayed to those who hate us and persecute us Matthew 5:43-48.  Even in our prayers, we tend to be no more than small babies in making grocery lists of things we want from God rather than making an effort to be growing in our understanding of what it means to approach God as a son or daughter who is mature and useful in the Kingdom of Heaven.  There are so many things that we tend to miss out on as a child of God because we are not continuing to seek after Him on a daily basis.  I pray that we could see that start to change in my lifetime. Perhaps for the few who come and are made aware of some of what God's  Spirit tries to impart to us we can.  It is my prayer that you will consider what Hee is saying to you through this post. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
