WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN OUR TRANSFORMATION ?

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

Matthew 5:8-11 Gives us more of the transformation pictures from Jesus teachings as He shares with us the true parts of what we need to yield to Him before the Holy Spirit can effectively take the control needed for our lives to change enough to make real and permanent changes in us.

3. One of the first areas is our need to become pure in our hearts. Without this process being completed in us we will never be able to see the things that God has been trying to share with us since the beginning. What does it take to have a pure heart toward God? I believe it starts with our being painfully honest with ourselves about who we are. In order to do that we must stop the comparison that we are making between ourselves and other people, and begin to use a true comparison between us and our creator.  The attributes we have made mostly up to this point are likely between things that we can still have some control over or at least find excuses for not achieving.  We must truthfully go back to the beginning stages of our acceptance of Christ as our Savior to the point of realizing that we can never compare ourselves to God except that we are created in His image.  As God has told us, we have no ability to change our condition or our status in creation. We cannot change not even a hair on our head or a day of our life because He is in control of all that we are. What we need to do first of all is to realize that fact before we start our comparisons. That alone should humble us enough to then be able to approach God in the right way in considering His love for us.  A pure heart also means a truthful heart towards God. It does not mean that we are always going to agree with God in everything, and so there will be arguments from time to time. That happens in all truthful relationships, but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing.  We need to seek the reasons why things are happening in our lives the way they are. God will eventually show us the truth if we stick with it.

For some reason, people get the idea that they cannot show true emotion with God, but I think that is exactly what God is looking for from us.  We were created to share with God that imperfect emotional ability just like a child with a parent.  All of that is a part of our relationship with Him in letting down our guard to trust Him and to love Him.  I don't really think we start to see God at work to invest more in our relationship with Him until we can be truthful with Him in that way, but once we do we will also begin to see this world change toward us as well.  It is those who have begun to allow those inside changes to be seen by the people around them that triggers a response of being a peacemaker or a child of God.  I don't know why men hate good so much except for the fact that they cannot control it or use it for their own use, even though they try to so hard.

We must come to the point that we understand that anyone who is against God is also against us if we are with God. It seems to be a deeply hidden and inground hatred that is spooned by Satan against the purity and the power of not being able to control it or conquer it.  The church today will not tell you the truth about the persecution of the child of God because they are fearful of it in a physical sense. Men who simply give lip service to the idea of faith fear the truth of death to this world because it means they lose possession of things.  The truth is that we don't ever own anything in this world because this world is only a temporary stop in our journey toward life, and it has never been real life itself.  Those among us who have come to the point of understanding that has the chance to really discover what the Kingdom of Heaven is al about because they, in turn, can let go of the white knuckle grip they have on this world and cling to the real promises of God to them. Verse 11 in this Matthew 5 scripture tells us " Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lying say every sort of wicked thing against you for my name's sake"  We can know that there is a great reward that awaits us in the Kingdom for the same hatred was shown to the prophets before us.

Friends, Jesus has given us a road map to our lives as we travel with Him in faith and love, but we have to be willing to stay the course...it is a lifetime course that is set against duration, not speed, wisdom of His Spirit at work in us and not knowledge of this world.  I pray that each of you can see that. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
