WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF YOUR LIFE?

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:

There have been many things during my ministry in the web ministry that has caused me to pause in thought. Recently I have realized that I have not really known to many who have taken the time to actually explain what Christ explained in His beatitudes about what happens as we become a believer in Him.

Because of that, I want to take the time to lead you through some of what should be taking place in your life as God's Spirit asks for and receives control from you.  If you have not been feeling these things they are things you need to look for in your thoughts attitudes and basic lifestyle changes.

1. There is a sense of peace that comes over us at the time of our salvation that cannot be explained very well. I believe it to be that peace that passes all understanding because it is a spiritual relief for us that this world can never explain.  If you have asked God to save you and forgive you, then chances are you have received that kind of feeling. If you have not felt that in your heart even though you may have said those words " Lord forgive me" something may be wrong.  This becomes an important thing to deal with because it may be a sign that there is still something between you and God that needs to be dealt with.  Our spirits are a part of us that is very sensitive to feeling God.  Our hearts and souls know when God is close and when He is far from us.  I am not telling a secret here because we all know that is true, and even with our relationship with God, there are times when we can feel that in our lives.  Even though that feeling is there is isn't that God has departed from us, but it can mean that we have sin in our hearts that blocks that closeness and peace we felt when we gave our lives to Christ.  There are many times that Christians have to deal with sin every so often in their life.  One of the things that the enemy really tries to attack is how we accept Christ.  In order to really have a relationship with God, we must come to the point in our lives where we have an experience with Him that is life-changing.  The problem with that is that there are many who are walking around today who have said the words or prayed the prayer and yet have never had any kind of life-changing experience. Matthew 5: 1-3" When He saw the crowds He went up into the mountain, and after He sat down His disciples came unto Him, and He opened His mouth and began teaching them saying: Happy are those who are conscious of their spiritual need since the Kingdom of the Heavens belongs to them"

This is quoted from the New World Translation, but I think it explains just what Christ meant much better. Happy are those who are conscious of their spiritual need.  We are not simply joining some club or organization that sympathetically believes as we do that Christ is the Son of God because that mindset does not get us anywhere in our quest for salvation.  We need to open up our lives to have an experience with God where we feel our lives are being changed, and not just to feel good about ourselves for a short while.  I feel like there may be quite a few people who have fallen into a false sense of security in Christ by simply mouthing the words that someone else has told them to say and yet never have put their hearts on the line.  Can I ask you a question? Have you ever believed enough to actually repent?  There are several steps in our coming to Christ which are not really talked much about today...Belief, confession, repentance...these are all a part of the experience with Christ that is needed for salvation.  When you begin to go through these phases of the plan of salvation it will no doubt cause you to have sorrow at first and that is what I want to deal with next. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
