FOR SOME REASON things are changing
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
For some reason the further I go in life the more unrelated this life is to reality. I cannot help but think it is because as mankind we are getting further away from reality instead of closer to the truth. The sense of need for being something more than we are as men and women are seen so strongly in everything from our entertainment to those things we allow to govern our time and attention that it feels like our reality has become a virtual place of existence.
I am reminded that God had told Adam that he would have to work and earn his living by the sweat of his brow, and yet in the last few decades, we are no longer working but are striving to find our way out working or ( earning) what we have. I have noticed that when the things of our life became made from plastic and metal we begin to lose contact with reality and the further we go into an automated world of AI the less we seem to favor the physical reality of the world around us. We are literally creating our own worlds that we can control almost as we think of God controlling us, and each step we take in that direction leads us closer to thinking of manipulating and creating life just as He has. I cannot help but wonder how easy it will be for the enemy to manipulate our mind and the limited wisdom of man to think just as Satan that he can replace God.
The thing that most of us in Christ do not seem to understand is that the battles and the war that we talk about all of the time is right here among us. The enemy is not a myth or legend that is perpetuated by the movies or Children's stories to scare us into staying in line with God's word; he is a real enemy. He is an enemy that we need to understand and be prepared for. In a message, I heard just this morning about the book "The Art of War" was the idea that if we know nothing about the enemy and know nothing about ourselves we can expect to lose every battle we come up against. If we know our selves but do not know our enemy we will lose 50% of the battles we wage, but if we know our enemy and we know ourselves we can win every battle that is waged. Our world is changing because it was created to at some point change. It is a temporal place that is not meant to be eternal, but we are created eternal and not just physical. We need to remember that all of these forces that seem to be so scary and powerful to us are created by God. Satan is no more powerful than any other Arch Angel because he is a created being whose natural language is to lie. It is the power of persuasion that gives the enemy any hold on us. My friends, we need not be afraid to know who the enemy is and be willing to expose him when he tries to use the different ploys and techniques of a lie, deceit, and hatred to turn us. There is a middle ground between Heaven and Earth where the enemy does his greatest work against us. We can see these things at work today even in our churches because Satan goes to church every Sunday; I know this because I am pretty sure there have been times when he has sat right next to me! We fight all of the time to keep his influence down in our lives but the tools that are used against us are things we never see coming. One of the big areas in life today is the concept of getting too busy to worship or wait on God to answer our requests.
Getting too BUSY simply means Being. Under. Satan's. Yoke. and it is happening today all over this world. Let me ask you a question? Do you feel like you are busy with your church life through small groups and classes, or do you feel that you are growing Spiritually? It is fine to be busy in our relationships in the church, but the most important thing we can do is to grow Spiritually in Christ, and if we are not then something is wrong. Many of us are doing nothing more than staying busy with things that make us look and feel busy, but do nothing for our spiritual health. That is exactly where the enemy wants us to stay. If you have found yourself feeling as though you are spinning your wheels in a mud slick spiritually you probably need to look at the kind of quality you are receiving through what you do during the week. Pick good solid teaching to read or listen to, and get together with people who dare to challenge you to think and pray about things in your life that are important. I want to continue to write more about some of these things that the enemy is doing today right in the middle of our churches that you need to be made aware of in your personal spiritual battles. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
