THINK WITH YOUR HEART

GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:


    I can tell that things are starting to wind down in this world by the way people are reacting to the word of God.  There fewer people who really want to talk about Heavenly things or deal with Spiritual problems in their lives.  The reasons for that have already been planed within the minds and hearts of men and women all over this world, and they don't even realize it.

  I believe that in time people will be absolutely given over to their desires to rebel against God's authority and love for them.  I believe that God will eventually simply say "OK if that's what you want then go for it" but the consequences will always be the same.  Just like sheep we too forget the stupid mistakes we have made in the past, and we want to be  " The captain of our own destiny".

  That always ends up being a PIPE DREAM that is simply not true!  God is the creator and He is the one who is in charge no matter if we want it to be that way or not. It does not matter how much we yell and scream at God or shake our little fist at His decisions we will never rule over God because He did not make us to rule...He made us to be able to love both Him and one another.

This is simply common sense, and it does not take supporting scripture to understand. What it does take is our willingness to still listen to His word being spoken through His Spirit within us.

You see friends it is that rebellious part of us that is tied so deeply to this world. It is not because we are inherently bad but it is because we are made to be physical creatures of this world and our tendency will always to be to preserve this life and this body instead of giving God the love and respect He deserves because of who He is.

 I don't think there is any doubt that evil will eventually seem to win in this world.  It is the pattern that God has used to defeat Satan from the beginning.  Like it or not we are the ones who are caught up in the middle of the conflict and we are the ones who must make the ultimate choices of who we will serve and where we will choose to be.  You see, neither God or Satan has the power to make your mind up for you even though they can influence you. God cannot because He has made a choice not to, and Satan cannot because he does not have the power.  God will influence you by telling you the truth about yourself and the situation you are in and Satan will influence you by telling you anything you want to hear and then pulling the rug out from under you when you think you are safe.

 The bottom line for all of this is to realize that God is working His plan of salvation for mankind out each day we exist and we are in the middle of the soup bowl so the speak We have very little control over things other than to make a decision as to who we will align our hearts with.  It is my prayer that you will get close enough to the Father for Him to share some of these revelations with your heart now so that you can avoid the pitfalls that are coming. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
