AN EXALTED CALLING IN CHRIST
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
In the book of Colossians 3:5-17 Paul shares some valuable information about how we should treat one another. He warns us of the things of this earth, and how they are condemned by God. We should have put all of these things behind us that tend to rule the hearts of those who are continuing to live in this world.
We attempt to put on the new man each day when we rise and yet it isn't just the attempt to allow God to be a part of our lives that matters. It is rather our complete surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ for our lives that in the end will make the difference. Many people think that allowing God to be with them or a part of their lives is what God is looking for and yet it is not. Eventually, He will require everything you have to give Him or you will come to a point in life where you will refuse to give Him more of who you are. When we come to that point we will be in direct conflict with God's will. Paul tells us to not lie to one another, and not to treat one another as we treated men and women when we walked in the world. When we become new men who have been transformed truly by the renewing of our mind and heart we will not be able to think and act the same way as we once did without stirring grief within us in the Spirit of God that dwells in us.

Paul reminds us that forgiving and putting up with the inconsistencies of people is a part of our duty as servants of God, and as servants to one another in the Kingdom. All of the things that we are striving for in Christ are based in love, and it is that fact that allows the peace that is greater than our understanding to live within us.
It all comes from allowing ourselves to be emersed in the word that God has given us to live by as we continue to teach and admonish one another through the Psalms and spiritual songs of Christ because that life we live out in front of each other will establish will brings with it grace for all around us; even the world that is watching to see if we stumble will not be able to deny the grace and love in our forgiveness of one another in Christ and so be brought closer together.
We are meant to be exalted in the ways we live and to witness both in our successes and our failures in front of one another and this world. It is not because we have lived perfectly, but because we have lived truthfully in Christ that this way of life will draw others to become more open to Jesus's Spirit drawing them to God the Father. After all, we must learn what our role in the witness of Jesus Christ really is. If we allow Him to live through us then we will have pointed the world to Him, and that is the purpose for which we are given this life. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
