A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF (cont)

Let's take a moment to just give the glory to God for the wisdom He is imparting through this series...
Greetings in the name of Jesus:

When we are bothered by things from inside of us many times other people are bothered as well, and that might well be the what holds us back in other relationships as well.  It is often those things within us that are so small that we disregard them as quirks that become some of the giants that we have to face and slay down the road.  That is one of the main reasons that God has told us not to forsake getting together in fellowship with one another. As I said earlier that is one of the reasons that God's word sheds its light of truth on the flaws we have. It is also the main nature of man to try to hide those things from others, and in particular from God.  It is those things which are not from God's Spirit within us that will not be able to stand being seen in the light of truth, and sometimes the reflection we see from that truth does not even look like the person we thought we would see there.

Because this is such an important process of our total relationships with God and the world around us it is often thought of as overwhelming but that is the reason God has given the believer the Holy Spirit as a teacher and a guide.  Our flesh and our spirit are at constant odds with one another, they are pulling us in opposite directions at all times.  While we may think that we would never use drugs or be addicted to anything we do not realize just how addicted we are to the life we are involved in right now.  In all fairness, Of course, we are addicted to life, who wouldn't be?  What I refer to here has an even deeper meaning to it than what we normally think of.  It is that virtual reality that we call life that we hang onto like it was the most precious thing we have.  We are programmed to hold this life dear, and the most difficult thing is to give this life up, but it is not the life we give up but the opportunity to make that single choice that we are put here to make...what about God?

The process of looking at self; analyzing who we are, determining the true worth of what we see, and then trying to fit that into a search for the person we really want God to help us make is hard to achieve.  The person you may have started out thinking you were maybe changing if you are following what I am saying to you. It is my duty to put this information out to you, I can only pray that God will help you pick up on it.  Let God be a part of the person you find along the way. God has created us to be someone that I think is much different than the person we see in the mirror, and He wants for us to be able to find out who He has created inside and unlock the beauty that is there. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
