THE SIMPLE TRUTH OF LOVE AND HATE
There are so many things to be grateful for in life it is difficult to count them all, and yet I believe it is always our nature to want more.
Perhaps it is because like small children we have not yet learned the true values of the life that we have been given until it grows almost too late in our lives to change the course we have been on. I don't necessarily believe that it has a doctrinal point of view attached to it, but I do believe that God is very much a part of the process of learning how to live in harmony with one another and with the world in general around us. In fact it isn't our Christian faith that separates us from this world as much as it is the world hating the truth of God...and separating from us because of it.
It does not take an over abundance of scriptural knowledge to understand this kind of simple interaction to the world around ...the world hates God because of His purity and goodness therefore the world will also hate us for loving God.That is the nature of sin in this world...to hate without knowing all of the facts. It is the nature of sin to rush us into conclusions that are not thought through thus causing us to make embarrassing mistakes that bruise our egos and cause chaos with what we have allowed this world to convince us we need in order to maintain control of our lives.
For most people today an enormous amount of time is spent on trying to stay on the fence between God and Satan by saying that it is we who should be in control of things. With that kind of thinking we develop what seems to be the most important of things to us...family, jobs, positions within the community in which we live. All of this is to find out at some point that we have never ever been in control of our lives for one second...especially when misfortune occurs that we have no control over. It is at these times of life when the questioning of what we have been doing wrong in life appear.
My dear friends we cannot expect to correct the mistakes that we make without the hardships of this life to help point the way. Love and hate alike are not natural to the human soul; they are both learned both from the physical and the spiritual parts of who we are. As we are being taught behaviors of both love and hate it become more critical than ever for us to seek out council which has never failed us. For me that source has always been God's word. Every time I have allowed God's word to lead me and teach me I have found an insight into the person I am that I could have never found alone. If I am to learn about love and hate in this life then let me learn it from the only perfect source of truth that I can find...that is from God's word....may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
