LOOKING AT OTHERS LOOKING AT US

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ:

There are many issues in the life of a child of God in this world one of the major issues deals with the way others look at us and the way we look at ourselves these things determine in many ways what our growth and success is as a Christian. It is in how we view ourselves, and does that view of ourselves truthfully revealed the person that others see as well. This involves how our lives touch on their lives around us and want the effectiveness of that contact. If we are to involve ourselves in another person's life we take on a responsibility far greater than we could imagine. The fact is that we are then as Christians in a position where we must become a conduit to that person of God's love and communication to them. We become the kind of pipe line where God can reach that person through our lives. If that is not happening then there is a problem with the pipeline and not with the message. Some are called to a special walk with God and when that happens it becomes even more important for us to view ourselves correctly. How do we relate to the emotional and the spiritual pain and needs of another if we cannot relate to the problems that have? We cannot! That is where many people get into real trouble. If you are to become a way of God communicating to another person then that does not always mean that that it should be you who has all the answers.

I taught voice for many years and one of those main points I always made was that someone should not teach something that they themselves cannot do. So many voice teachers are just pianists with the desire to help others sing. That does not qualify them to teach voice. If someone is to teach performance then they themselves must have the knowledge and understanding of what it is to perform. The same is true when it comes to helping people with spiritual issues in their lives. We may not have the answers but we can find someone who does. God can bring us to an understanding of the needs of a person's life, and we can even gain the knowledge necessary to counsel almost everyone who we would come in contact with, but there is a personal price to be paid for that kind of wisdom, believe me I know. The fact is for the most part we cannot hope to understand or relate to the pain and the needs of another persons life by depending upon our own experiences, but God. How do we look upon ourselves when we help others?

How do others look at us in those situations? Let God handle it. He may choose to give you the right words and the right hearts if you are ready, but be ready to be subject to his will, and careful to keep your pipeline clear of self. We are not given a blanket mission to everyone that we come in contact with. We look at ourselves as we relate to the father and it must be in two ways; first we realize that we are a child of God and that must give us a sense of pride in our spiritual state, but not in the work that God may call us to do. All of our lives we gain the experience that is necessary both physically and spiritually to do his will for us. It's rather like a classroom that teaches us how to respond to things both emotionally and spiritually. If we have a greater volume of experience good and bad physically as well as spiritually we would then have a great source of wisdom from which to draw answers. Secondly when we have been given more experiences like that many times we are thought of in the churches as being worldly, and therefore many times Sean. Those people cannot take on a roll of ministry because they are seen as unworthy. The only way that we can look upon ourselves as a vessel of God's Spirit is by the flow of God through us toward others. Then becomes who we are the, tools used by the power the Holy Spirit to do work however the spirit of God dictates that it be done. We are still children of God, and we still belong to the father, but we are no more just ornamental, but have become tools to be used in this world for his will. No matter who we are in this world we can become useful because we are looked at as all being useful tools for his an outpouring to others. In this series of writings from the point of light ministry God has shown me many different things. It is my prayer and desire to impart this information to you so that through the power of the Holy Spirit you might become awakened to a new growth within you of ministry in love. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
