GOD'S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT
Greetings in the name of Jesus :
I am already thinking about the studies for next year, and I am finding a real leaning toward how the letters written to the church always pointed back to Christ teachings about the Kingdom of Heaven. Even the beginning stages of scriptures were still based upon that simple message that Jesus delivered to us as the the church along with the good news that we could have a way back into the love and friendship of the Father through Jesus. I don't think that many of us really make that connection in our minds however, and that is the reason we need to reconnect with what the Good News really says to us.
Romans 2: tells us that we have a reason to find God right now...we are in danger as we are. For each of us individually has a problem with sin until we make a choice in our lives about Jesus Christ and the saving power of making Him Lord of our lives. Romans 3:23 "tells us we have all sinned" and that brings each one of us under the penalty of sin which is death. That death isn't what we think of as death in this life because we won't even understand the meaning of real death until after this life has ended for us. Real death is eternal separation from God's presence. It is living without His protection from the real evil that lurks out there. Romans 6:23 in general speaks to us of that death, but there are not many who have really understood that kind of death. It is eternal, and without the protection of God that we have frankly been enjoying all through this life without realizing it. This kind of death puts us in a place where the absence of Goodness through God means that we are in the eternal presence of evil. That means that nothing has changed in this life except you can't die from it again to escape it. All of the terror that you so badly fear could happen will be upon you with no where to hide.
This won't be God's fault...it will be yours because without making a statement to this world and showing your allegiance to Christ you will have rejected Him through being apathetic to your own needs. This will bring the kind of nightmare situations that we all want to avoid...for even now we can think of the tremendous horror that the human mind can think up as torture for our lives, and each one of those things awaits us without God protection and love. I don't know about you but I have seen the human mind come up with some pretty scary things in the last few years in movies. For me to think about being able to be hurt so badly...feeling the constant pain yet never dying from it is enough for me to run to the arms of God right now...I know what that blackness holds, and what awaits us in the unseen places of this world. God's judgment is righteous in that He will simply say to you " If you want it that way so badly then here's your wish". Romans 5:8 gives us a way out by telling us that if we accept Jesus we can avoid all this. Romans 10:8-10 tells us how. There will be a judgment day my friends. This little warning was brought to you by someone who love you very much...me. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
