THERE ARE PARTS TO OUR SALVATION THAT ARE BEING SKIPPED
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
I need to use lines like that one to get your attention, but in all seriousness, we are tending to miss some important details of the original message that Christ gave to us.
I do not come to you in great power or authority but in the name of Christ Jesus who has given to you the means to find the truth of God through the foolishness of preaching and teaching the real word of God.
We hear all kinds of messages on love and the freedom of the gift of salvation today without ever hearing what it takes to be able to stand in the face of the evil that makes up the majority of this world around us. I want to begin this last push in my life to make you aware that the enemy is doing all he can to make sure that you never hear the real complete truth about this message of salvation. The world is in hope that you will take someone else's word for the truth instead of following through and looking it up for yourself. The enemy hopes that you will be lazy enough to allow yourself to drift off to sleep in a church pew somewhere rather than have a real and personal relationship with God. Satan does not care how much you go to church or worship God with your mouth as long as you do not get active enough to want more of God than you want things of this world; if you do that will mean that it is losing its grip on your life. My mission from God is to release you from this bondage by giving you a truth that is being hidden from you. In some cases, the leaders of the church may not even know that this gap of information exists but I can tell you there is an ever-increasing tendency toward not understanding some of the basic commanding issues in God'smessage of good news to us.
These issues deal with basic salvation that is slowly being left out of the preaching of truth about God, and if you have not caught on to it yet you need to hear the truth so that you can avoid the traps that are being set right in our church lives. JESUS PREACHED about these very things from the beginning of His ministry in Matthew 5:3-11 in the Beatitudes as He showed us the progression of what we should be able to expect as we began to have a closer relationship with Him. The one thing that God wants you to have for yourself more so than anything else is HONESTY. We are being less honest with who we are all of the time because we are not dealing with the grass-root problems in our life. For a great number of people, the idea that we have anything to do with building our relationship with God seems to be foreign to them because we are being told that Jesus has already done everything for us. The idea that all we have to do to maintain that relationship is to believe that He is the Son of the living God. The only real thing that will do for us has put us in the same group as Satan is in right now because I know beyond any doubt that he believes in Jesus as well. Our goal is to have a personal relationship with Jesus as our friend who sticks closer than a brother.
I want to begin to search these things out with you over the next few weeks. The need for us to begin this honest quest about our relationship and walk we have with God can and ultimately will be a life and death situation for you. These things need to be resolved before we can actually begin to grow and bear fruit in Christ in a meaningful way. Are you being completely honest today about who you are to God, and about how you really feel about God in your life? It is one of the first steps to getting God to really trust your words to Him for if you are not the chances that God trusts anything you say are slim to none. Think about that, and may you richly bless God through your life in Him.
