CHRIST'S FORGIVENESS OF SIN HAS NO INTERPRETATION
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
There is a constant attempt to distort God's word and the message He has given to men and women today. It is unfortunate that most of the really dangerous distortion is coming from sources that people have been brainwashed into thinking are the safest sources of information. I am finding that a great deal of these people are being corrupted because they are only giving half-truths in the presentation of the gospel.
We are told to love but never lead to understanding what it really is to love. This process never leads to a church or an individual bearing fruit in the Spirit of God because we never are forced to test what real love as Christ spoke of it for ourselves either to give it or to receive it. Unless we can experience love and the forgiveness of someone personally we will never be able to allow it to change the old character we have had into a new creature.
We have successfully divided our allegiance of worship into styles that fit our personal taste rather than the worship of God on a Sunday morning. Our concept of forgiveness from Christ should need no interpretation, and yet we are still divided about whether or not there is a continuous war being fought over your personal value to God? Christ's forgiveness of sin is based upon your acceptance and change in direction of attitude and application of that forgiveness. Does Christ's love cover all of your sins? OF COURSE, IT DOES! If you accept that then all you have to do is to live like you believe that. If you truly believe that you have been forgiven you will live like that means something to you...the question is do you?
Prayer has become an issue for me lately, it seems that I cannot get enough of it because I am beginning to realize how very weak I have been in living as though I actually believe I have been forgiven by God. The problem for most of us is that we don't realize what forgiveness really means until we get ready to pay the debt we think we owe. It is not until we actually come to Christ seriously for the first time to find that His word to us is true that we experience what it is like to be forgiven. It is not until we understand the debt we owe that we can come before the Lord in our weak and trembling state to find ourselves debt-free. There is no need for that to be interpreted for us and yet we leave that very important part of our relationship in the hands of someone who has no idea of what we are going through. My dear friends this world is on the verge of moral collapse and our spiritual lives are at stake. It is time for us to begin to pray not by reciting something someone else wrote but by coming to God in our own broken heart to seek what that forgiveness feels like. We can wake in the morning with Joy unspeakable and full of glory! May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
