HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED "HOW LONG O LORD?"
Greetings in the name of Jesus:
I have to admit that there are times when I ask myself " How long O Lord?" I find myself out of words to use in describing the Spiritual details that I see unfolding around me in this world every day. The problem is that others do not seem to see the things that God continues to show me, and I am running out of ways to give them a message that is clear and vibrant.
It is very frustrating for me to be in this position of being given the messages and the vision yet not being able to adequately express the message in a way that will move people to make changes in their lives. The only thing that I can do is to continue to repeat this message until it is either completely ignored or until I pass. It isn't that people completely ignore me now, but I do think that the time will soon come when I will pass without seeing any lasting result of my having been here.
This world is without any doubt growing colder each day toward the truth that the gospel of Christ gives us, and I believe that is due to our inability to humble ourselves before God and to accept that gift as we should. Without the humility that God requires from us, we will never truly be able to repent from sin or accept the true nature of His forgiveness. I really feel that like any other free gift there is a detachment from its value for us. If we cannot feel the expense of something we cannot feel any value to us, and if that is the case there can be no real desire to commit ourselves to its value.

For a very long time now I have tried to express the need for us as followers of Christ to feel something when we worship apart from the music and the energy of other people in the room with us. We need to be able to experience Christ in our lives and to feel His Spiritual change within us, but so often we lose that First Love we may have had with Christ, and then settle into some kind of mundane ritualistic tradition that is adopted by those around us that ends up frankly replacing any true worship from our lives. I REALLY DON'T WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN! The problem is always the same; how do we express this undying love from God in a way that moves people's hearts toward humility so that God's Spirit can take hold and change us?
It feels to me that the most eloquently formed words are still not enough to change the mind or heart for very long, and the death of thousands of loved ones around us will only affect a Nation for a short time in this age; so what is the answer?
God's promise to us has always been based upon a condition of our hearts. " If we will humble ourselves and pray, and repent, and turn from our wicked ways then He will hear us from Heaven and turn and forgive our wicked ways. He will make straight our paths again", but none of this can take place until we take action about our condition in humility. My question for us today deals with our own ability to be humbled before God. What does it take for you to still remember who God is to you? What does it take for you to realize just what the gift of Salvation means to you?
For a great many people in this life we have already gotten so steeped in our religion that we may well be like those whom Christ has said " Though they may say to me Lord, Lord, they will not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven" and the reason is simple...they never learned to humble themselves before God and to accept Him as complete Lord over their lives. I pray that you will today...right now if you have not as yet done so. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
