HOW IS GRACE USED IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE?
GREETINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS:
It is one thing to try to explain Grace to someone who may not be familiar with it as it relates to God toward mankind, but we have to go on an entirely different level to explain how that grace is used in life on any kind of daily basis. There is one thing for sure; God will not give us His grace to be used on our own terms. We cannot use what God offers to us to be used as a commodity or controlled by our own time limits and desires.
There must be in His timing and direction for any real power to flow through us to a ministry in His name. God must be the one who is in charge of each thing we do and when God requests something from us there is a season for that work to be done in otherwise His grace may not be a part of it. That season of time is attached to everything that God does in our lives, and I have had to learn the hard way by missing that timing many different times in my own life. Let me try to give you an example of what I mean:
The Holy Spirit may direct us to speak to someone on an issue of great importance; knowing that at that particular moment their heart may be right to receive it, but we may feel we need to hold off for some reason. If we hold off too long that season may soon pass by for them to receive the word that God has given to you. The opportunity for your ministry may be gone, and even if you deliver that word at a more convenient time for you something may turn them away from receiving it...then the timing would have meant everything to them and to you.
We tend to miss the fact that God's Grace belongs to Him and cannot be stolen or borrowed by someone else to gain glory with. Paul speaks about that sort of thing happening with Isreal's salvation as they attempted to work God's grace through good works and the law of Moses, instead of through the power of God's Spiritual grace toward them. We must rely on God's power because without His Spirit at work in us we cannot hope to ever find our own ability to draw closer to God. There is nothing then that we can do to make ourselves any better of a candidate to receive God's Grace than by simply and humbly accept it as the gift to us it was meant to be.

The only hope for us to have any part in the grace of God to us or in the working of the grace of God through us is by this humble acceptance of what He has done for us, and then showing a true love for God by submitting to whatever He wants us to do and by giving Him the rightful glory for all that is done in His name. We were never created to be in charge, we were never meant to be rulers; we were meant to love and be loved by the creator God who gave us life for all eternity. The life we are speaking about is not just for the period of time we live out this existence, but for all eternity. Yes, my dear one you will live forever...whether it is with God and His grace or apart from it is your choice to make during this lifetime so choose wisely. May you richly bless God through your life in Him.
THE UNWORTHY SERVANT
