JESUS SPOKE ABOUT THE ROOT ISSUES

Greetings in the name of Jesus:

God has always tried to simplify our lives by speaking to us about Ruth issues then we have within our hearts and relationships with others. Starting with our basic attitude and reason for being a follower of Christ like that of being salt that adds a flavor to the rest of the world, or light which points the way toward truth, Jesus spoke about issues that are undeniably the closest things that we have to deal with in our human condition.

In motion for most of us has always been among the most difficult things to deal with, and it is the smallest parts of our body that often get us into the most trouble. Things like our tongue is used in reference to being a RUDDER that can guide the very direction of our life and relationship with other people and with God. It isn't that any of these things are necessarily good or evil, but they are mostly overlooked in our minds as either being nonexistent or such a small factor within us that we can easily control them. While the world teaches us to honor our own creative ability to invent or solve problems that we have in this physical world, God focuses on a completely different plane.

While in the first part of his sermon on the mount Jesus dealt with who we are to the world and what we had been doing to maintain our relationship with God there were still deeper things that needed to be addressed. The basic trait of anger in emotion has triggered some of the greatest divisions that mankind has ever experienced. These emotions derive us to say and to do things that are out of our control because we have not perfected ourselves spiritually. The issue of anger often comes out of this first in verbal abuse to others, and has a destructive capability that we don't even realize until we are on the receiving end of that kind of verbal abuse that stems simply from anger. I have had people say some very hurtful things to me out of what they described as anger in general, and then later tell me that they weren't angry with me but the situation. Still the anger shown had a great effect on the way I felt personally. Emotion becomes one of the largest adversaries that we have because it is used against us more so than any other tool in the spirit realm.

Once again Jesus brings us to a complete understanding of what we need to do about the general emotion that stems from anger. It is shown from what we say off the top of our heads two point we do as a retaliation to being hurt by others words to us. The idea of our use of anger goes way beyond the commandment that God has given us to not kill. The teaching tells us to avoid anger and hatred toward any other person. It tells us that we need to deal with such issues that try to hide themselves within our hearts even though we may attempt to give sacrifice to God. The thought tells us to heal the emotional strife between us before we bring an offering before God. There are many things that stem from dealing with the emotion of anger. It may start with words, but often it ends with actions taken, things like adultery, or divorce, or perhaps even an oath that we take of revenge as we seek our own form of justice. It ends up not being the big things that cause us to crumble in life, we are, more than not, guilty of avoiding the extreme sins while we regularly are committing the types of sins that Jesus was the most concerned about. These are the things that fly underneath our radar is people, and for the most part we may not even realize that they exist. These become the root issues that need to be dealt with in our relationship and with ourselves. May you richly bless God through your life in him.
